Dine Out for Life

On Thursday, April 28th, The Olde Bryan Inn and Longfellows participated, along with 61 other restaurants, in the fundraising event Dining Out for Life. The event, which has now run for 14 years, raises money for Alliance for Positive Health, a group based on helping people within our own community. They locally provide free and confidential “services to people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS”, in addition to supporting prevention and making outreach efforts to those who are at higher risk.

Guests who wished to take part in this event had to do one simple thing – Dine Out! Throughout the day and evening at Olde Bryan Inn, and the evening at Longfellows, we were proud to see so many friendly faces pouring in to support this event that the alliance says celebrates “food, friendship, and philanthropy.”

Today we were able to celebrate in another way as the social media posts rolled in from friends and family excited to have taken part, and the annual event was declared successful yet again by the Alliance for Positive Health!

Olde Bryan Inn and Longfellows wish to thank the approximate 400 guests we were able to serve on Thursday between both restaurants, allowing us to contribute to this worthy cause!

If you were unable to dine out on April 27th, it’s not too late to participate!  Online donations will be open until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 12th.
