Cheesecake Season

Posted in general

The Olde Bryan Inn sell cheesecake slices every October with profits benefitting the Oncology Ward at Saratoga Hospital. J & S Watkins supplies French Vanilla Cheesecakes with pink icing ribbons on each slice, to signify Breast Cancer Awareness.
Throughout the past two years we have extended this tradition past the month of October to benefit other wonderful local organizations.

Currently the creamy French Vanilla cheesecake from J & S Watkins is decorated with a blue circle to signify an organization near and dear to us, Code Blue Shelter of Saratoga. Code Blue is a program of Shelters of Saratoga which provides low-barrier emergency shelter to individuals who are homeless from November 15-April 1.

Code Blue was started in December 2013 as a collaborative effort between the City of Saratoga Springs, faith-based groups, individuals and non-profit partners committed to assisting individuals who are homeless. It is funded in part by The Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance and by the generous contributions of many supportive individuals, foundations and businesses.

When you dine with us and order a slice of our cheesecake we are excited to be able to contribute $2 to Code Blue, to help them with funding of crucial shelter items, such as food, paper goods, cleaning supplies, and toiletries.

Thank you for everything you do, and all the ways you help us help others! We’ll see you for dessert!
