Fall Fun in Saratoga

Saratoga is known as the Summer place to be, but there is so much Fall has to offer in this beautiful area! Grab a Pumpkin Spice latte from Uncommon Grounds, and a cozy scarf and get into the Season with some of Saratoga’s best Fall attractions and traditions…

Go Apple Picking (just don’t forget the donuts!)

While you can get delicious, warm apple crisp all year long at Olde Bryan Inn, why not go straight to the source this Autumn? Apple picking is a long held upstate Fall tradition, and our favorite place to fill a bushel is Saratoga Apple. The cider donuts aren’t too bad either! Hot, fresh, and flavorful, grab a bag, or ten, to get into proper Fall mode.

Just a little Hocus Pocus!

On October 17-19 at 7:00 pm, the Saratoga Arts Center will host showings of beloved Halloween film starring Bette Midler, Hocus Pocus! This family-friendly event will include special effects, trick-or-treat opportunities for kids, and prop bags for audience interaction. Best of all, the Arts Center is downtown and walkable from a pre-show meal, or post-show drink, at OBI!

Haunted Hayrides

If the Sanderson Sister of Hocus Pocus aren’t spooky enough for you, there are plenty of scare opportunities in the region! We love Double M’s Haunted Hayrides and frightful attractions to get into the Halloween spirit. Chill out post-ride with a drink in our well-lit Tavern to shake off the goosebumps!

Mamma Mia, Here we go again!

Home Made Theater has been the heart of live productions in Saratoga since 1985 in the State Park, where they continue to focus on the importance of community as well as professional quality. This Fall escape the rainy gloom and allow HMT to transport you to sunny Greek Islands for Mamma Mia the Musical! Playing October 12 – 27, don’t miss this “sunny and funny tale”

Leaf Peeping

Take a hike… literally! Saratoga boasts many beautiful trails and nature walks where visitors and locals can enjoy the splendor of a colorful Fall season. A weekend stay in Saratoga Springs puts you within short distance of several lovely hikes, and a brief drive from even more. Red, gold, orange and yellow – catch this natural display while it lasts!

Saratoga Fall Festival

October 26 will see Downtown Saratoga come to life with festivities to celebrate the Fall season. This year’s lineup includes magic shows, face painting, games, arts & crafts, live music, pumpkin rolling races, and more. Don’t forget to warm up post-festival by walking the short distance over to OBI and enjoying French Onion soup by our fire!
